i look in the mirror and see the fear in my eyes
stranded for eternity in the corner of my demise
lost in the thoughts that yesterday left behind
i pray i will remember these illusions are not mine
although these illusions are reflections I see
I find these intrusions looking at me ...

looking in your eyes
i feel the pain of old
lost loves, lost lives
forgotten memories, untold
eating your fear
drinking your desire ...

offering miracles
realizing the gifts
in my glorious life
the lives of all others
angels in heaven
have no need at all ...

why do i want to go back?
attachment to old friends
attachment to old beliefs
attachment to old desires
attachment to old lives
let me be reborn again today

see things as they are
see me as i am
see friends as they are
see relationships as they are
see romance as it is
see emotions as they are ...

My love is in love
With the me that loves her
So i am in love

creation and destruction
life and death
light and darkness
love and mind
father and son
absolute and relative ...

In the park, by the silver lake
Seagulls filled my view
Shimmering waters behind them
Rippling with wisps of hope
I listened to the gentle flow
of the notes of the beauteous song ...

sweet, joyous pain
doorway to the light
through the shadows
most repugnant blight
pain is an illusion
life is but a dream ...

if life is but a dream,
and dreams comes true,
can this dream life come true?
if death is but a door,
and the door leads to life,
can i borrow your key? ...

i told her that i loved her
i wonder if it was true
what was i seeking?
that she could not give?
i loved the light i saw in her
of that i can be sure ...

as the physical melds
joined in nakedness
all walls erode, melt, fall away
joined in light, dark, love, lust
oneness, openness
and the fullness of my being ...

Perspective changes
Actors on the stage
Song neverending
Playing through the day
Between the notes
Silence ...

Colors of the rainbow
Shades of God's love
Simple, graceful hues
Ripples of holy light
Butterfly in flight
Fluttering, flittering glint ...

sweet agony of desire's anticipation
misery explodes with a quickening thought
mountains bow at the rage that flows
ask for her pain and surely receive
light of creation exists in my soul
magical, mystical marauding miracles ...

conditional kindness
sacred emotionality
practical spirituality
loving the dream
merrily, merrily
gazing into the darkness ...

you are love
connected in spirit to all that would say
you are love
and we are love
and love is light
and light is love ...

Love sprouts in the morning
Grows tall in the sun at noon
Blossoms reaching toward the rays
Share their beauty with passersby
I am the water that feeds the plant
Passion flowing through the earth ...

reflections on the pond
clearly show your face
warm beauty in your eyes
i long for your embrace
a day that lasts forever
a meal between two friends ...

fragile moments
birthing a dream
chaos dawning
drowning the scream
lone wolf howling
forever alone ...

In the time of a thought
Everything changes
With a beat of a heart
Life rearranges Miracles born
From the light of our smiles
Summoning peace ...

when we breathe
when we feel the power of the air
and nothing else
we taste the divinity within
when we close our eyes
and look to the child of the heart ...

why?
why, then, must i cry?
glimmer of tears as they stream from my cheek
sweetness of years as we walk the holy dream
six hundred perfect prayers i prayed for you today
six hundred loving years and we will be together again ...

chrysalis breaks free...
my love born anew this day...
joyful flight in you

i was playing in my sandbox today
poured out a cup of water
and out flowed the oceans
the sands of time flowed endlessly
from the mind of a child
time dawns, with the breath of the wind ...

we scream the screams,
we cry the tears,
accept the fears,
so many years
and then,
we brave a thin, small smile ...

eyes closed, we built our walls
afraid to touch the heart within
running from the self that breathed
don't let them come near, they might hear
and then, one day, twelve moons ago
we found a hint of life, a glimmer of breath ...

no idea the wonders we'd see
when first we stepped from the bank
into the canoe, for you and me
tried to row, steer, find the way
fighting for control, currents grew stronger
raging rapids, fighting spirits, fearful ride ...

today, i pledge my heart to you
sweetness floods my soul anew
we'll fly the highest sky, so blue
let nothing stop our rendezvous
my mind is clear, my spirit free
to you, my dear, i give the key ...

i peer into the vastness of eternity
and see my eyes
reflected in my eyes
i see the vastness of eternity
i looked deep into her eyes
i saw only kindness ...

dance with me ten thousand nights
wake with me ten thousand mornings
walk with me ten thousand days
and then
ten thousand more
i love you

I was walking by the brook tonight
Smiling at the passersby
Heart dying, soul crying
Letting no one know
Tired of the waiting
Waning moments, newfallen dusk ...

Rising through the flames
Phoenix steals a glance
Hoping against all hope
That we will rise again
Tides forever changing
Feel the warming rays ...

hand moves pen
wind moves hand
breath moves wind
love moves breath

ravens in the deepest dark
hear the heart's soft cry
tombstone stands among the weeds
doorway to my stifled soul's breath
circles, ripples, birds overhead
remind us of a heart once dead ...

when we fail to see the divinity in us, we feel small
the more we grow in spirit, the harder to deny our true nature
we fan the flames with love and hope and peace
the fire grows hotter, stonger; the light harder to hide
the more we grow together, the more painful to separate
as the radius of the inward spiral shrinks ...

all connected
made of the same stuff
yet i felt alone
behind the wall of my comfort zone
brick by brick
i dismantle the wall ...

You fill the room with waves of love
Your heart overflows, peace from above
Memories of the power of divine embrace
Overwhelmed, tears stream down my face
Captivating beauty, glorious romance
Together, soon, we'll live the dance ...

chrysalis struggles to make her way out
wings fully formed, ready for new flight
i watch in perilous anticipation
as she fights to make a new start
wanting to help her to break free, but it's not for me
virgin butterfly must make her own way ...

Breathing out, I tremble
Breathing in, I smile
Weeping silent tears
Leaping point ever nears
We climbed until today
Today, we'll climb some more ...

intensely empty
painfully raw
experiential perception
interpretive reality
deepening waves
heart's heat rises ...

Reconcile the truths of all
Turnstile of lives spins forever
Channel of peace flows both ways
I beg to cry your tears, embrace your fears
Wishing you but a moment of bliss
Sweet Nirvana, tender laugh, kiss of wind ...
