Fresh tilled fields surround
Grass begins its growth
Hints of life abound
But a nagging chill of winter

Reveal the whisperings on a soft wind
Touch me with the light
Of a blazing hot summer sun
I am alive in your presence
I am one in your holy home ...

Each day, a little closer
To love’s new arrival
Each day a little nearer
To merging forever with you
Souls’ mates’ destinies found
Awakened in passion’s heart ...

Each and every leaf
On each and every tree
Visible from this room of windows
Visible from this home of vision
Is alive in its humble perfection
Each and every leaf ...

quiet and subtle nudges
small winks along the way
stillness in the stillness
ripples in the waters of life
meanderings from unknown hallways
in a large uncluttered home ...

To be a droplet of water
in the constant fountain of life
to flow in the natural eternity
is where all glory dwells
Rapid waters, white with rage
merging in the nearest age ...

Black century comes to its fateful end
Age of great turmoil and suffering
Plague of locusts and leaf and mud
Grasshopper hops into the new year
Purple and yellow flowers explode
As the season of change starts new ...

As I wake this morning
I feel your side of the bed
And you are again not there
I choke back a tear
And thank God for today
I walk down the still dark hall ...

reflected
in the words of a poet
reflected
in the eyes of a poet
your love moves me to a place near tears
then it moves me ...

Moving past the anger
Moving through the wrath
Walking through the fire
Whilst staying on the path
Begging to grant forgiveness
Needing God’s great grace ...

Walking today on the path set before me,
I seek the strength within to seek the strength of God.
Thoughts arrive and bombard and float by
this busy garden of choice and intent and temptation.
Constantly reminding myself to slow down and breathe,
I wonder why I seek so often this lesson to relearn. ...

Fear is illusive
The frantic chase for the tail
Stop to find the strength
Fear is illusion
Circular truth of the chase
Find the faith in God ...

Kind loving soul
This new love of mine
Her touch, it pervades
The deep place, divine
But even more deeper
New places explored ...

Touching another, building a bridge
Tear down the barriers that keep love at bay
Risk for a moment, baring your heart
Follow the way of a Savior this day
Who is the leper, alone in the heat?
Ask him today if he’ll give you the chance ...

Petals opening new
Gentle folds of warmth
Offering of your gifts
Burning flame of two
Softest touch of heat
Response meets response ...

Flight of the seagull
Alive on the winds
Soaring forever
At home in the skies
Winds’ constant flowing
Over the wings ...

Resting
         for just a few moments
Basking
         in the midday sun
Feeling
         the sprouting of joy ...

She gives all that she has to give
and then… she gives a bit more. She
is love packaged, love incarnate, love
in action.
Kind, gentle grandmother
vibrant, alive and real ...

Words, though formless,
    are formed in permanence
Words, though ethereal,
     touch the reader
Words, though common,
    are made uncommon ...

In each and every moment
Providence fills the heart
Remembering to remember
Love is the place to start
Constantly flowing stream
Beginning with the sea ...

As dad held my hand
I walked in his power
Confidently knowing
Each step, every hour
Always assured
I knew where I stood ...

Father within
Looks at His son
Son in the house
Looks to the One
Father above
With adoration, much ...

I pondered a question one morning as I rested
In the chair in the bedroom finding some peace
A thought came upon me and landed with grace
“Seven stanzas of love for the woman of my heart.”
As a robin finds calm on a strong secure branch
So, my spirit finds calm in your gentle embrace ...

Tempered by the lessons
Strengthened by the storm
In the power and the refuge
Let the God of all transform
Touched by holy fire
Living in this dark place ...

Filled in the sounds
Of the morning symphony
Praise from earth’s creatures
Sharing spring’s fresh glee
Alive in this bright moment
Touched by Jehovah’s love ...

Praising the God of joy and light and majesty, my great wish came true.
I touched your small and precious hand and told these words to you –
I said to you “I love you,” and further that “you are so beautiful.” I
saw in your eyes an unmistakable twinkle. Beyond any reason why,
there was a moment when all was well. Forgiven and forgotten
in the perfect eye of a perfect and precious daughter of God, ...

The power of the notes
Pervasive in the air
Touching all who sing them
Releasing the dormant care
Carefree in this moment
Sing a glorious song ...

Awakened in the shining moment
When strength meets calm resolve
Man finds his place in the world
Holding Charisma in his open hand
Deep within his humbled heart
He surrenders to find real peace ...

They walked a mile for you,
Down a long and lonely street;
Though sometimes they grow weary,
I thank you for my feet.
Moving again to deeper faith
Through ever-present feelings; ...

Gentle as gentle ever was
Butterfly takes to flight
Glorious, quiet journey
Pleasant, calm and bright
Touching the ancient deep
Breathe the perfect light ...

Alive in God’s great Glory!
Sing to all the land
Joyous celebration
Come and take my hand
God of all creation
Fill us in your grace ...

Where is your gentle hand?
It comforts me in the storm.
Where is your love?
I need your touch each day.
The light shines forever,
From a wounded and broken heart. ...

As my eyes look toward the brightening skies,
As my heart moves toward the power of providence,
As my thoughts turn to moments to come,
I am filled with the love that is our great gift.

Confident in his gaze, he takes her hand.
She is mesmerized in his power;
Natural or unnatural, she does not know.
She is lost in a whirlwind of turbulence.
Knowing feelings beyond any she could have,
In her past self, conceptualize or realize. ...

The tears flow easily this morning
as my feet find your feet. The warmth
of your skin warms also my heart.
The warmth of my heart
is the wellspring of my tears.

For the second time, we sat on the bench
next to the quiet pond, sharing moments
with the shimmering waters and noisy
geese. Their mating rituals displayed
for us to witness, they were home
in that precious place we visited ...

Warm and present aftertaste
Bitter and pure black heat
Feeling the drifting notes
Of a distant song’s subtle beat
Soft and supple visions
Lover writes her prose ...

Golden serenader hidden from view
Sweetest song flows from the leaves
Sung to another with golden wings
In a beautiful voice the little bird sings
Two with ears to listen anew
Shared perception, joined heart receives ...

I woke early this morning
surprised to be asleep in my chair.
Little creaks and aches greeted my
Tired mind as I floated clumsily down
the still darkened hall. As I
drifted back to sleep in my waiting ...

Long flowing hair
Golden as the sounds of her song
Voice that fills the world
And lingers with each note
Radiantly shining
Filling hearts with light mystery ...

Take me to the magic man
Let me see his smiling face
The one that lives forever
And fills this mighty place
Take me to the majesty
Of a brilliant rainbow of light ...
