Bowl of lunch meat
Lost in the chase
Of life’s great race
Amazed at the feat
Salami on the table
Crazed mysterious hunt ...

Out the side door and down
the steps. Walking out into
a waiting and fresh world,
the scents of fresh meats,
grilled to a state that tempts
my wanting and longing hunger ...

Through drama and pain
Pitfalls and rain
This love always knows
Forever it flows
Come to me, love
With grace from above ...

Set aright
This sinking boat
Pull my thoughts
Up from the deep
Touch my heart
Please make me clean ...

Listening for the sound
That soothes my tired soul
Drawn to the voice
That makes me always whole
Breathe on me, Father
Fill me with Your grace ...

Hardened by life’s travails
She wonders why the path is rocky
Memories of the lessons
Litter the otherwise pristine way
Tempted by the burdens
Carried by sons and daughters ...

Alive in this new moment
Each new breath brings joy
Awake in God’s great love
Nothing can destroy
Perfection in this instant
Jubilant dancer flows ...

Peaceful calm breeze
Touches our exposed skin
Washed in great love
Flowing from deep within
Two opening hearts
Learning to love with all ...

Outside, the sun is shining
Inside, my heart is blue
Longing for the heartbeat
That beats inside of you
Outside, the day is rising
Inside, the moment falls ...

spirit forever flows
as the dance dances on
ending at the night
starting at the colors of dawn
love moves the heart
spirit moves the soul ...

In the Holy Mind of God
Is where peace is ever found
Heaven’s magnificent gates
In the heart of one child
Thoughts are one with Him
Source of love and joy ...

Temptress dances in the night
Soul screams out in holy fright
Persisting now in lessons’ plight
Yet, peering at the pleasing sight
Lost in an instant’s dying fight
Dive within or take to flight ...

Watching your chest rise
And fall
And rise again
I wish you much peace
And dreams of splendor
In love ...

From darkness, we emerged
Light of God shone on all who woke
Holy eyes that sought heaven’s door
See with the perfect Light from deep within
Opening to the sacred truth
Knowing, trusting, wanting, seeing ...

Visionary glances
Opening the mind of the sage
Momentary trances
Everpresent from the start of the age
Compassionate healing
Touching our deepest soul ...

To sail with you
Dear friend of mine
On calmest seas
Lovely, divine
Moved by the breeze
Of God's own voice ...

Splendid, charming, and new
Revealing your words to me
Your heart, forever true
Your love is all I see
Filling our days with joy
Our nights, with ecstasy ...

Cleaning her paws
Satisfied with her prey
Devoured as the sun
Departed from the darkening day
Remembering the look
Fearful dread on its face ...

Crucified to find the Light
Christ within a holy child
Release the need to know it all
In perfect peace, be reconciled
Love of God flows from your heart
Be in stillness - one with truth ...

Glorious love you have for me
Majestic, divine, for all to see
Offered gift from a beautiful child
God’s creation, tender and mild
Woman, man; from two, we’re one
Joining in the Father’s Son ...

In God’s holy vision,
only love flows;
in this existence,
only God knows.
Created in Him,
the world is revealed; ...

Out of the mire
Lotus rises true
From yesterday’s sorrows
Hope springs forth anew
Out of the east
Colors call your name ...

Standing by the still and quiet waters
Calling to mind the greatness of your gifts
Choosing to surrender more deeply
We draw in a deep breath and dive in
As ripples lap gently at the shore of truth
Gently, we swim toward the unknown depths ...

Sultry form haunts me
You melt me with a look
Memories of our dark dance
One touch was all it took
Subtle glance inflames me
Captivated in your fire ...

Your quiet and soothing voice
Touches my deepest soul
Stillness fills the air
Your presence makes me whole
God of greatest love
Fill my thoughts with you ...

Waking this morning beside you
Graced for one hundred days
Glorious heavenly joining
Living in wondrous praise
Walking and dancing and loving
Days of separation fade ...

In holiness, we pray
In lowliness, we seek
Take us to the mountain
Lead us to the peak
Walking in your steps
We live and love and pray ...

Through wind, rain and storm
Our love perseveres
Strengthened in grace
By a God who always hears
Releasing the past
Relinquishing fears ...

Surrender all
To your grace
Longing for
Your lovely face
Fill me, Lord
Make me whole ...

Having crossed the threshold
Of the doorway leading to
Mysteries’ revelations
Divinity shining through Having seen your face
Bright, dazzling, and true
Bathed in your light ...

Come to the forest
Visit the plain
Stand by the ocean
Shower in the rain Out of the sadness
Heart of a child
Simplistically longing ...

…and he spoke with the authority of the elders from his perch on the branch of the ancient oak… Exposing good and bad
Revealing all you are
Old and knowing love
From the furthest star Ask and you are offered
Love that feeds the land
Ready hearts receive it ...

I woke up early this morning. Just before 4 a.m. It's still dark outside. Everything is quiet and peaceful and at rest... Breathing inward
Air over the lips
Across the teeth and tongue
Pulling it deeply into the chest
It feeds the soul
Renews the heart ...

Love arising
New and strong
Walking, skipping
Merrily along Touch my soul
Take my mind
Offering you ...

From the deepest of depths
Where you and I are one
There calls out a spirit
Together with your son Jesus, my salvation
Fill my heart with you
Friend and constant teacher ...

winter winds blow the seeds
scatter them over the lands
until they find a new home
and set down new roots spring rains cover the ground
water the newly rooted seed
sun shines longer each day ...

Tasting the sweetest nectar
Wild beast set free in me
Your beauty overwhelms my soul
Your fragrance fills me with great need To take you to great heights
I awaken the magic within
Greedily feasting on you with haste ...

Where the night meets tomorrow
A new day sprouts with promise
Dawn of the rising fresh mind
Arriving new season showing its hand
Yesterday’s miserable fear and loss
Suffering memories of imperfection ...

Entering again this forest
Ancient chill filling the dawn
While just beneath the surface
Bubbling heat rages on Child of endless wonder
Smothered by deception and pain
Sucking in warm putrid water ...

In a moment of grace
All the world, set aright
Releasing the thoughts
That kept us in plight Touch us, dear Father
Pull us to you
Healed and alive ...

There was the slightest sliver of moon that morning as I woke. Not far above the horizon. It seemed I could almost reach up and touch it. The silhouettes of the nearby trees loomed dark on the pre-dawn blue sky. The ground was wet from the slight rains that had visited last night. As the skies brightened, and the moon faded, I saw the tiny tracks around my small campsite. I sensed that I was being watched by many small eyes. They seemed to appear in the time it took for me to blink. Perhaps it was just my nagging and lagging state of sleepiness. I shook myself awake as I knew I would need to pay close attention to the fast talking mole that led the gathering. I smiled and stifled a giggle when I heard the leader begin with a clearing of his little throat. He spoke… Beauty in us all

Covering, drenching, pure Melting the strong walls
That kept him always secure
