My hands rest on the canvas of my dreams. I am the composer and the artist and the symphony and the painting. Moving deftly, slowly, clumsily, recklessly, thoughtfully – moving, moving, moving. My hands were made to write the songs of my heart, my heart was made to sing the songs of the universe. The universe was made to dance the dance of life with me.
My hands rest on the crux of realization, connecting heart, soul, mind, atom, galaxy, thought, and word. Let the dreams forever flow, freely and powerfully; let the majesty of life move my mind to write.

An overused word
In poems of love and romance
Gazing
And yet
That’s what I remember most

Burn away, dear glorious God, all vestiges of fear
Destroy the hardened walls of our childish resistance
Move us to the living glory of your perfection

A light breeze touches

Comforting

The great heights of joy

The grasses waved, whispered a gentle hello

Of a mind, too long, alone
Drip, dripping
Cold drops falling to a steel sink
The water gathers
It pools as the blood ...

There is no better feeling
Than to be loved so completely
As we are in our family
No matter what, love persists

Walk me to the moon

A month ago, I was a different man. Life has a way of changing us – the ups, the downs, the ebbs and flows, the trials and triumphs. Each day’s tests seemed harder than the last, but also, each day’s joys seemed brighter, larger. I have been learning how to live again, to dance, to soar.
