As I sit in the place on the couch
where you last sat when you lived here,
I call to mind, a flood of memories
of moments with you. There is a place
in my heart, where you will surely
always live. Your beauty, your touch, ...

Gazing at the full-length mirror
She admired her beauty
Though advanced in years
She was still strikingly adorned
She lived in the perfection of now
Whilst embracing her ocean of memories ...

Six short months as lovers
So crazy-in-love, both were
Living on all the edges
A choice, as one, concurred
The last place on their earth
Was the lonely town of bliss ...

moments of true grace
flow from the wellspring of God
miracles of love

Floating through the soundless vacuum
Of the blackest blackness of space
Twinkling hope fades
Replaced by the loss of all
He once walked in majesty
Alive in the hope of tomorrow ...

There was a time
Not so very long ago
When he was happy
And life was kind
There was a time
When love was new ...

Beyond all horizons
Above the last star
Beyond conscious thought
So close, yet, so far
Beyond all conceptions
That cross us with Him ...

Just beyond the furthest reaches
Of my limited understandings
There is the silent song
Of the wounded rabbit
Just beyond the sunlight
That streams forever true ...

Where are the happy ones?
Why have they gone?
Where are the flowers...
Seeking the sun?
Is life in the middle...
The place we should be? ...

Life’s great renewals
The seasons of change
Arising each moment
Wonderful and strange
Your power is enough
To carry us through ...

Back on the shelf
A chapter complete
Time to start over
Time to retreat
Back in the saddle
The horse shakes his tail ...

Inner ear
Vaulting fear
Drawing near
Drying tear

Drama, chaos, exaggeration
The stories that allow
The tellers of those stories
To not see the real life
Arising around them
At all cost ...

Take me to the secret place
Where you and I are close
Fill me with a sense of peace
My thoughts and fears, release
In your secret closet
I hunger for your love ...

For the first time in her life,
she stood unsure
of what tomorrow would bring.
She finally chose
the noble path of surrender,
dove into the abyss, ...

Not nearly enough peace
In this world of terror and strife
Not nearly enough air
To sustain this smoke-filled life
Not nearly enough wonder
To lift the young ones’ hearts ...

Perfected in the grace
His love touches my soul
Heavenly face
His mercy makes me whole
Alive in today
The miracle of now ...

Most poems tell of ideals
Of hopes, of dreams, of love
This poem will stray
Just a bit
Blood dripping
Onto the congealing ooze ...

The glory of this moment
Fills my soul with glee
To know that you are here
Watching over me
The sacred place of light
Between your heart and mine ...

Deep within my core
The fires burn for you
Your vision sets ablaze
All passions within
Deep within my heart
I feel great love for you ...

What is the nature of thought?
Where do thoughts connect?
From where do thoughts originate?
Where do thoughts intersect with emotions?
What is the meaning of self-awareness?
Are enlightened beings the only ones who are self-aware? ...

Daughter of God
Surrender in grace
Let the tears run
Down your beautiful face
Daughter of grace
Lover of all ...

Touching another
God’s gift of intimacy
Two hearts finding one

Love exploding
From mind and soul
Your blazing heart
Fills me whole
Love ever flowing
In the miracle of now ...

And the Lord spoke...
Be in constant faith
Persevere in your trials
And I will give you
A great inheritance
Be in peaceful joy ...

The fibers connected
Their still beating hearts
Surrounded by visions
Tearing them apart
Colors of glory
Flowing and pure ...

my love for you, dear
shows in my bright smile
each day, it expands
even across many miles
my love for you, dear
fills my heart with peace ...

Into the mirror
My eyes see your eyes
Together for all time
Reflections, divine
I am the forever flame
To your forever wanting wick ...

She's driving the train of contentment
Choosing the straight tracks and curves
Breathing in the air of life
As it rushes on to meet her destined trek
Queen of the unending rails
Watchful for perils ahead ...

Endless days of joy and bliss
Delivered on Glory's wings
Breezes of loveliness whisper our names
Sealed with a holy kiss
Love that lasts for time and time
Fire and water and rain ...

Pregnant with expectation,
The lovers have only the slightest glimmer
At the greatness
Of the sacred joining that is to come.
God himself has blessed them,
And their dawning union – ...

Momentary glances
At too many faces
Regretting lost chances
Drinking coffee alone
Imaginary dances
Love yet replaces ...

your soft gentle words
heal this man's soul
touched in your love
kind, warm, and whole
beauty untold
and a deep knowing smile ...

Look in your hands
To find what to do
Offer in gladness
That which you hold
Open your heart
To find your true dreams ...

In the awkward moments
Of the silence following each conflict
The battlers’ cry
Is lifted
In the pleasing moments
Of the recognition of the depths of another ...

At the crux of the decision
They choose to live as one
Dancing in the glory
Of the bright and rising sun
At the moment of a glance
Into warm inviting eyes ...

She wanted to believe
That everybody lied
She was still a prisoner
To so many old beliefs
Crafted from years of survival
She knew not the way out ...

Back in the woods
‘Bout a mile from the road
Quite a piece from the city
And even the closest town
A small sign was painted
With three simple words ...

She had come back changed
There was something about her eyes
The green in them was glowing
Beyond any green most had seen
A bit like two emeralds, large, hard
It felt like her eyes were heavy ...

I dismiss the passing thought
That I would rather have left a day earlier
It’s wonderful driving with you
Over the majestic mountains
Occasional patches of snow in the distance
At the higher elevations ...

Everywhere I look
I see the beauty of your love
Yet, again and again, you flee from it
And from me
A grown man should not be made to weep
But for your love ...

An empty canvas
This white and blank sheet of paper calls to me
Its force is irresistible
The paper is Jupiter, I am but a moon
And all that really matters
Is the orbit of my life ...
