That come into his mind
That dark night
His world was swept away
Into the dark tumult of fearful disdain ...

A gray squirrel visited our
home this morning. He enjoyed
several of the peanuts we left for
him on the wide railing of the
terrace. He'd have surely eaten more but
for the Blue Jays that happened ...

Eyelids heavy
Time for sleep
Tomorrow will bring new poems
…
Newly awake
Time for life ...

cold winter winds
the ground is frozen
and so is your heart
a moment's reflection
thoughts arrive from within
and from without ...

From distant space
They arrive in earth’s atmosphere
Cold stones, ice, elements
Crossing the path of Gaia
Entering the thin layers of air
They begin to warm ...

Whatever you might conceive
So long as you also believe
That thing may indeed come true
With only enough faith from you
But it’s not always as you foresee
I hope that you’ll take it from me ...

On another street
Out of sight
She wanders
She is the lost antelope
The herd has found new plains
The herd is finding new grasses ...

No one thinks a thing about it
If you were to look into her eyes
You would see
Her compassion
If you were to stop and listen
She would recite for you ...

Just beneath the surface
The answers lie in wait
Open to the truth
Approach the hidden gate
Find a piece of life
Revel in its taste ...

Meeting on neutral ground
They took a chance at peace
Risked a look at love
Sought fear’s last release
Awakened to the truth
Staring at the abyss ...

The dream persists
As echoes of visions
Shown on the surface
Of the stream of memories
Reviewed for a time
And then either released ...

Just outside
Four closed and cold windows
Bright with the rising sun
Warming the room
Just outside
The trees stand tall ...

Beyond the preconceptions
Dropping expectations
Love, free of conditions
Committing to never part
A feeling of security
When doubt falls to the floor ...

The heart moves with the wind,
Dancing and swaying and drifting and playing -
Seeking joy and goodness in each moment;
For the awake, this goes without saying.
But is there not, beyond the feelings,
Beyond the short bursts of sensations, ...

A Father's mercy
His greatest gift
It healed our souls
And closed the rift
A Son's great pain
It cures us all ...

The enemy’s plans
Will not be made manifest
In God’s perfect light

I am interested only in your utter surrender
Addicted to the flavor of your essence
I demand you meet my need for you
Let your dress drop to the floor
Give to me what I need
Tell me you don’t want me to devour you ...

My love is a drenching rain
It quenches every thirst
All the people are touched
Soaked to the skin in love
Let us dive into the river
That is fed by your pouring floods ...

We are renewed in your presence
Made alive in your perfect way
Divinely moved to change
In the glory of your face
Today and always one
The Body of Christ are we ...

And the choirs of angels sang
And their voices were sweet honey
And the people were caught up in glory
The mighty and beauteous light of God
God’s light shone that night
His glory touched every heart ...

Sparks fly
When you are in the room
Or even
Simply on my mind
You are the fullness of passion
The forever burning flame ...

There is a place I know
In the expansive halls of my mind
Where images of you
Come clearly into view
In the time it takes
For my heart to beat a few times ...

When time had no meaning
There was no time
Just before it dawned
It was hidden from the mind of all
Energy existed only as potential
In the timeless Mind of Creation ...

I know your name
And even in this empty place
Neverending melodies
Flow from the hollow rooms
Your sweet perfume
Remains in the corner ...

Sitting again in my chair
In the midst of a bright and cold winter day
I still my thoughts
Taking a few moments to pray
A sneeze escapes
I have stirred up the dust ...

His gentle hand
Reaches out to touch
The heart of His child
His pervasive kindness
Moves her to tears
As she risks a smile ...

Love is inclusive
God is alive
Love is expansive
Present and here
Love is infernal
God is the fire ...

Protect my mind
From unkind thoughts
Keep me pure
In gentle love
Let not the ruins
Fall from dark skies ...

All that has meaning is love. Only love has any real and true meaning. I rejoice in the perfect union of love, the wonderful fire of God's heart, the amazing colors of Love's arising dance.
Arise and dance
Filled in the wonder of love
Passion flows from the heart
Fire burns to the core
Joined in the perfection ...

Some things, you just know...
From across a crowded room
I can hear my child cry
Somehow I simply know
No need to question why
Entering the door of my home ...

Love God, self, and all
Live, laugh, skip, jump, and enjoy
The meanings of life

My heart is gladdened
In your wondrous Light
Beautiful visions
And glorious sight
Touched by Your love
Restored in Your grace ...

Filled in your love
Tears begin to flow
Overwhelmed in glory
Reaping what was sown
Alive in great peace
Comforted in praise ...

With beautiful amazement
I walk into Your heart
Filled with glorious praises
Lord, sanctify my art
Let each step be for You
Let each word praise Your name ...

Don’t tell me about your desires
Reveal to me your deepest intents
Don’t bother to try and seduce me
Flood my mind with the divine truth
Only the real and divine will satiate
The thirst and hunger I live each moment ...

I have a heart of forgiveness
I have learned this harsh lesson
Through tearful surrender
Through joyful animosity
Through cherished revenge
I have a heart of charity ...

Alive in the fantasy of her touch
Remembering a moment that never occurred
Awakened to the splendor of perfection
Imagined in moments of longing
We met by the long pier
There was love in the air from the start ...

Frustration rises
When you are not here
I want to be close
Want you to draw near
But life sometimes moves
Notwithstanding my desire ...

Just over the horizon
We can sense the aroma
Of the fresh spring flowers
Contemplating their birth
Deep in the still frozen ground
Just out of earshot ...
