as the infant thirsts for milk
so i thirst for you
as the eagle flies on currents of wind
so my wings need your loving support
as my lungs pull in the breath of air
so you fill me with the breath of life ...

i heard your voice today
amidst the cacophonous waves of my minds
i felt your hand today
your touch is the caress of the wind
i shared your joy today
brilliant jubilation of our dance ...

late this evening i took a short nap ...
i strolled carefree on the beach of the lake
moon shone bright as the waves kissed the sand
my thoughts floated up to the vast oceans of stars
i rested my head on the drifts and took a short nap ...
the rowboat drifted free as the hawk circled above ...

the light of your prayers
is the wind beneath their wings
messengers of god

What is this wonderfully exquisite sensation that floods my soul?
I was placed firmly at the edge of my greatest fears today.
and wonder of wonders ... I had no desire to run.
Beauteous wonderment bathes my mind
Bliss? Peace? Love? Grace? Joy?
A hearty helping of the Power of God ...

the angels gathered near that day
having heard the miracles that would be
filled the trees that surrounded the meadow
song of the robin was especially sweet
the quiet stillness took my breath away
as i emerged from the path through the wood ...

dance the dance of joy with me
my spirit overflows, fills you
passionate embrace, ecstasy rising
the essence of love engulfs us
look deeply into my eyes, sweet lover
believe, with all that you sense ...

grace of heaven's dream
reflected in your eyes
timeless hope of glory
mirror of my heart
singing, dancing, spinning
arms raised, field of wheat ...

bluebird on the windowsill
first light of the day
sun sends me an urging ray
butterfly invites me to play
last night i cried a hundred tears
encumbered by a thousand fears ...

she peered cautiously into the mirrored water
afraid to disturb the perfection of stillness
though the journey of her lifetime prepared her
she was frozen in fear before the clear water
and then she erupted in a joyful chuckle
and the smile was set free from her lips ...

grace of joyousness exists within reach
whilst echoes find their way to the mind
sorrows live in the cavity of your heart
spreading forth as the roots of the elm
light of the stars shines on the truth
answers live in the stillness of time ...

strolling the avenue of simple pleasures
an apple fell to the ground
i picked it up and ate it
and i smiled
feeling refreshed, i picked up the pace
nearly missed the shadow below ...

streams of sadness flow
making a way to the sea
wandering to and fro
rising tides in me
place for anger to grow
pray that i will see ...

petals fall into the pale light of dawn
sweet hint of aroma drifts in the air
caress of the moment prompts me to smile
as i open my eyes and my heart this new day
thoughts arrive as the dreams fade from view
smile grows gently as the mind returns home ...

I climbed to the top of the mountain
and saw a little flag.
It read:
  Love is stronger than fear
I swam to the bottom of the ocean
and found an note in a bottle. ...

in the moments before the dawn of my arising anew
the chipmunks chattered a song
while fields of bamboo danced along
i heard through the ears of a salmon
saw through the eyes of an owl
we walk the dream each and every day ...

ask the muse for help
ask angels to light the way
poems born when we pray

designed by the potter
molded to long for creation
stillness cries out from the light
dancing the dance of Love tonight
arms sway as the reeds in breezes gentle
sounds of ages emanate from the stillness ...

drifting up the murky bog
sleep edges closer to the raft
instants of soundless, dim, soundness pass by
reeds play a song that soothes the thoughts
empty instants as the light grows dim
din of haziness rises from sight ...

walking this morning
shadow of a moth appeared
leaf fell to the ground

creating
living
dancing
loving
spinning
standing ...

walking in the park
daydreaming
remembering
and i am there again
sweet petals fall to the brook
ripples washed away ...

haiku born in me
poem lives in my heart this night
birth of a new song

standing in the dark
rejected again by you
tender pain of love
song of seven larks
morning springs forth in new life
ravens sleep again ...

A brick removed this day
Dismantling the wall
Wall of time we built so tall
Bricks of fear we learn to lay
The wall became our comfort
The will became our strength ...

riding the ripples in the river of red
dreaming of the willows blowing in the sun
gabla dee, jahma be, look at me, drama see
koora fee, symphony, miles of glee, floating free

longing, searching, wanting, tasting
actions that lead us, steer us, guide us
programmed, engrained, all that we are
wanting the longing to be fulfilled
for what do we long? our mind cannot know
for whom do we search? the heart's unmet woe ...

The precious water from the well,
That brings my work to life,
Comes not from me, but from the one,
The source, the power, the light.
I dug the hole, I placed the bricks,
I lower the bucket each day; ...

Though the butterfly rides on the currents of wind,
She sometimes takes rest on the boughs of the pine.
Some say that angels share our sorrow as we sleep.
Butterflies, like us, are born, die, eat, and weep.

sinking in the hot black tar
it sticks to my feet
remembering the simple pleasures
steamy thick air burns when i breathe in
dreaming of the dark crevices
never would have guessed it would be so bright ...

saving comfort
touch of your hand
loving feeling
smile in my heart
enslaving of mind
sustained in the mist ...

did i mention the way your voice makes me quiver?
how the thought of losing your love brings a shiver?
once tender, i walked away from pain
new surrender, pain won't take the rain
when i say the right thing, you send me away
when i say the wrong thing, you beg me to stay ...

longing grows
pangs of bliss
heart beating
mind retreating
dark corners
flame beckons ...

pain is my companion
with me each day
realm of pain
wrought with sadness
the only cure is solitude
from the insanity of the masses ...

spirits dancing
angels flying
children laughing
lovers loving
joyful heart
timely start ...

fog rising from the ripples of muck
beams of the moon break through
clarity in thought dawning
petals float on the thoughts
growing smile from the child within
hope is born in an instant of grace ...

Together in bliss
We sing in jubilation
Your presence brings smiles
His Heart feeds our souls
In you, I see the Father
In me, you see the Son ...

Healing correction comes to me
When I know I have the truth
Touch the burning Torch of Ages
Wilting, wandering, betrayed...
(selfish fear astray)
Dependence on the Father ...

partly clear
mostly sunny
partly sunny
mostly sane
partly loving
mostly crazy ...

sweet reality of breath
feeds my need to give
gentle outpouring of love
no one knows to receive
out of touch with the roses
vibrations match the thorns ...

love is
fear was
hope lives
tears dry

god is love
love is god
truth is connected
the dream is alone
love is never alone
aloneness is never in love ...
