a smile on my lips
loving words offered
a warmth in my heart

awakened by the sound
of the fluttering of her wings
silence of the mind
broken by the butterfly

Arriving in the morning
I look up to the sky
Gentle hawk encircles
I pause to wonder why
The task that is before me
Creates a weary soul ...

time to turn the page
adventure around the next bend
following the sage
writing these new words i send
we squabbled and fought
rarely did we agree ...

Sensations from afar
A look from a dreamer
Sweet concoctions
Wink from a twinkling star
Cut the strings
Set me free, puppeteer ...

feel the flowing mind
water of the stream
overflowing our banks
kissing the shores of time
follow the labyrinths
whereever they lead ...

today's illusion
unmasking of the raccoon
light of surrender
today's new vision
blurred by mist of fears released
tears of new stream flow ...

flooded in your passion
swim in the sea of love
ebb and flow engulfing
such sweetness from above
connected for a moment
perfect bliss, divine ...

Fusing lives
New love's dance
Wall arrives
Appearing askance
Flaming arrows
Shot from Cupid's bow ...

essence of me
wholeness of you
meaning of be
rest in the tree
joined in all true
far off, we see ...

When filled with love,
I write only about love.
When filled with light,
Only about light.
When I inhabit the divine,
only holy words flow. ...

If only you knew
The heat that I feel
As if I believed
That you could be real
Dancing and swaying
I swim in your light ...

words create life
life breathes anew
kiss of the rhythm
touch of the heart
speaks from my heat
heard in your depth ...

i peeked under the curtain
saw the fullness of the light
braved a glance at destiny
readied for virgin flight
what i saw was a surprise
filled me with delight ...

As I drifted off to sleep
I heard in my mind's ear
The words she sent to me
As time drew near to part
'Sleep with angels,' she said
New smile formed on my lips ...

leaf floating downstream
lost in the raging rapids
wide calm flow awaits

not only represent
not only mirror
not only convey
but also create
that which i am ...

So far away
Yearning for you
Unknowing desire
Mysterious friend
Moves through the sky ...

connections
connected hearts
connected minds
connected bodies
connected lives
light ...

Set aside the thoughts of fear
Open sea, boat floats, set free
Lay to rest all that comes near
Water laps, waves rock, all in me
Thoughts in a bottle, set adrift
Rhythmic lapping, ripples flowing ...

Opening our hearts
To newness divine
Sprouting, Growing, Flowing
One river, perfect Mind

light of the universe

bathed in divine warmth
light the dreams today
darkness falls

send me an angel
to sing a song of hope
send me a minstrel
to dance a dance of joy
send me a cook
to bake a big ole cake ...

forget the past
forget the wind
forget the cold
forget the hope
and look to the unlearned lesson
the pupil of the pupil ...

suddenly the light shone
knowing all in one instant
feeling connected in full
finality of the beginning
epiphany of enlightenment
show me the way to awakening ...

skipping rocks this morning
breathing in deeply the hope that surrounds
smiling at a new friend
dancing with joy in the love that abounds
fragrant aroma of wildflowers
drinking the smell, as tasty as it sounds ...

Perceptions grow

Just around the next bend
Home finds a new home
New wings of a new angel
New smiles of a new friend
Greatness is on the horizon
End of the rainbow, Start of time ...

as the dolphins rise to the top of the sea
and the geese look on from high above
bubbles drift lazily onto the new scene
tops of the dazzling prisms peak anew
breaking through the gentle ebbs and flows
and the new first century burgeons ...

longing to pray
caring for self

The oasis of the ages

Her feet walk on cotton
