Heart's light floods those you are near...
Fragrant waves flow to their ear....
Listening to the words that you say...
As you give to them...
I want to give to you... ...

As I sit in my room
I hear a small bird
Outside my window
She speaks to me
Of simplicity
Of the elegance of the song of love ...

Happy as the eon is long
He always hears familiar song
The rock, unmovable, he is strong
Never one to steer me wrong

Always sticking to his word
Never time for things absurd
Words of others go unheard
Lost for eons, truth ever blurred

in the awareness of the light
there is no light
only the darkness of the void
except
there is no darkness
it is but the absence of light ...

Creating the morass
Inviting the grief
Fear is the wellspring of pain
Reveling in misery yet again
or.....
We look to the heart ...

Floating down the river
On a raft made of logs
Passing and waving at those on the shore
Drifting peaceably, calmly
Slowly
Some have called this the tunnel ...

Dead of an overdose
Unwilling to concede
I saw it in his eyes
It comes as no surprise

Confounding humanity
Desires, intents, words
Emotions, thoughts, delusions
Who shall I be tonight?
Opening hearts
Ask for the next dance ...

Sweet smell of almonds
Emanating from the snake
Strikes out and bites
Poison floods my veins
For an instant of elation
Walked into the dark wood ...

The depth of your sleep
As we dream the dream together
And swing on the tire swing
Diving into the swimming hole
Engulfed by the warm summer air
For an instant, we are really there ...

Darkness floods the pit
Shame and guilt fill my lungs
Languid thoughts of death return
But then....
Does it really matter?

Finding serene
In the midst of the rush
Oceans of Love
In a moment of hush
Heart of a child
Not a care in the world ...

Drawing me close
Pulse of the waves
Captivating pull
Longing for you
I sit on the shore
The vastness of All ...

Joy washes in with the tide
Gulls squawk their happy songs
The heaviness melting away
Vast Ocean invites me to stay
Colors of blue, white and green
Subtle clouds glow, perfect sheen ...

Floating on wisps of air
Dancing on Ocean's breeze
Seagulls in flight
Perfect delight
Drawn to fly on wings
Soariing ever more high ...

As we grow toward the light
Stretch toward rebirth
Eliminate the grief and fear
Find favor in their worth
We reach a point in time
Where choice is what we face ...

Why, my son?
Why do you cry?
Open your heart
Raise your eyes to me
Why are you afraid?
How can I show my love for you? ...

Story began many years ago
Child of my heart is weeping
Thunder keeps my mind from sleeping
Flood of memories, to and fro
Facing ghosts asleep so long
Wall of fear we built so tall ...

Coffee and tea
Your place and mine
Sing, dance, and play
Hope that you'll stay
Romance and hot love
Stroll or stand still ...

Pardon the pain
Accept the rain
Anger restrain
Mind retrain
New refrains
Old stains ...

Butterflies and bees
Fly in the breeze
Rainbows of candy
Sweet eyes behold
Smile of a child
Innocence untold ...

fly with angels to places untold
belief from trust, a brand new start

Created from the Earth
Adoration incarnate
Flowing streams of milk
Glowing sweetness of honey
Light of All Creation
Binds the Love that grows ...

Deeply felt words
Fill my mind and soul
Light flows from you
Floods me, fills me whole
Enchanted by the beat
Swaying as the reeds ...

I've been seeing quite frequently reminders of the power that each of us have when we believe, when we focus that belief, when we intend for what we desire to be made manifest. I'm hesitant to write what I am wanting to write here... Not sure why, exactly... Fear, I suppose..
Afraid of doors to come
Clinging to lessons past
Opening sails wide
Climbing to the top of the mast
Looking beyond the horizon ...

Rowing the boat, you and I
Toward a horizon, so far away
Together in body, connected in soul
Light of angels, flying high
Filling with hope, love's healing ray
Aloneness destroyed, togetherness whole

Why, my sweet flowers?
Feel the sun's rays just for you.
Why are you crying?

Who is God?
God is Light
God is Love
God is Father
God is Son
God is one, all, many, none ...

Dry wood attracts the flame
Burn away the fear
Be one in the fire
Cast off heart of blame
Laws of the Word
Lead us to believe ...

walking in the pain
peering through the fog
crying in the night
skipping in the day
after each rain is a rainbow
that, we all know well ...

to care for myself
at the highest of levels
i care for others

If I love others
I must indeed love self
Else, others cannot be healed
And the Power of Love
That flows through me
is lost... ...

Fleeting glances from the deep
Into your veins is where I seep
Met you at the beach, asleep
Image of your voice. I keep
New black roses from the din
Secret no longer held within ...

there is no reality, except that which we create in the mind... so, deny the mind that denies reality, find the place that creates the new dream... float in the flow of the spring from that place....

Made love the whole night long
Passion's fiery scream
Inspired our hearts in song
But nothing could compare
To tasting your lips, fair ...

Heart glows
When you draw close
Love grows

moonlight on your lips
as i feed you strawberries

on this wonderful day of celebration
a year since we shared divine vows
my joy is renewed yet again
as i wake to the light in your smile
memories that we've spun together
as we danced, skipped, laughed and made love ...

sailing, sailing
drifting toward the ocean blue
old fog is lifting
replaced by thoughts of you
drifting down the river of change
gently embraced, wings of pain ...

kindred in spirit
connected in mind
abounding joy
in a perfect find
dancing in glee
love's perfect spree ...

chilling black rain floods the cabin
we'd hoped against hope we'd be safe
the drama, it feels vast and heavy
the start of a new fearful night
gasping for breath as we wake
nightmare of flooding storm ends ...
