Cold water flows
From the melting snows
Of the sun-drenched mountaintop
Carving new paths
Creating new schisms
As a frozen season ends ...

Lone wolf walking
On the endless plain
Forever destined
Forever alone
Fleas biting
Stealing his blood ...

Large and intense
Your eyes perceive much
And I hear your voice
From across a crowded room
Your smile lights up my world
Warmth of your heart fills me ...

To love and be loved
That is what life is for – or –
To learn and to teach

In an instant of faith
All sickness removed
In a moment of surrender
The healing flows free
Come, Holy Spirit
Fill us with love ...

Learning to live
With your hand in mine
Walking together through
Profane and divine
Two hearts exposed
With risk of much harm ...

I’ll love you forever
My princess, so special
Nothing can change
My great love for you
Precious granddaughter
A part of my heart ...

Hauntingly, they all stared at me
As I trespassed into their comfortable domain
I was hypnotized by the lack of passion
A room full of empty chairs
Their vacant gaze sliced through me
Could they know what I was to do? ...

If wishes were raindrops
And I were the clouds
The world would be filled
With rainbows for you
I’d wish for you joy
Contentment and peace ...

Trees newly bare
As the final leaves fall
Nests of birds revealed

Always honorable
Love is righteousness
Always beautiful
Love forever lives
Always faithful
Love trusts in God ...

Shorter days...
Birds that greeted me
Now sing elsewhere

Trust in God’s grace
Seek always His face
Let nothing replace
His glorious embrace
Alive in God’s light
Great wondrous sight ...

Looking up
Dark raindrops falling –
One in my eye

From heaven’s great warmth
Comes the comfort of love
From the song of the angels
Comes the peace of the soul
Aloft in the grace
Of the winds of divinity ...

Beauty persists
Bare of the many leaves
Now on the ground

I can’t remember ever feeling so utterly happy as I do today. I passed a lark on the way to work, skipping, (the lark, not me), and the lark seemed to just emanate waves of amazing light. Rainbows shot from both of its feet; its song kept tune to the whistling of the wind through the trees; he stopped suddenly and looked up at me. He began to speak, leaving me even more taken aback. So, anyway, here is what he had to say to me.
When the moments overlap with the morning dew
And the dance overtakes not just me, but also you
When the instants of beauty are too much to behold
Then comes the time to forget to grow old
When the sweetness of sorrows falls to the ground ...

Replace...
Fear with courageous love
Anger with patient acceptance
Disappointment with utter faith
Lack with great abundance
Chaos with alignment ...

Stream of cheerfulness
Pushes through the dam of fear
Drama's flowing foe

it'd see what it wanted to be
it'd go where it chooses to go
it'd all fall quickly into place
by the glory of the one Power's grace
it'd start in the heavens above
it'd flow through the caverns of love ...

Perfected in grace
New man praises God for life
Old man fell away

With every precious moment
In each of God’s new days
Let’s see with open eyes
And walk the sacred ways
The glory of His presence
Is here for us to know ...

Deep within
Spirits
Connected to one
Connected to the other
Connected as one
Combining as one ...

Living life as one
I feel your sorrows, joys, pains
Amplified, doubled, extreme
I pray for peace, that love remains

Sweet nectar within
It fascinates the waiting tongue
Fills the heart with an insatiable craving
For more of that perfect elixir
Craving grows with the first hint of its essence
Filling the dark and warm spaces ...

Standing
Facing the sea
Bare but for a swimsuit
Thinking of parallels
The ocean flows
And she ebbs ...

I cannot control my own emotions
Nor can I control those of another
My emotions, I offer to God
Those of another as well
There is no control
But by God’s Hand ...

Fear resides beneath
Chilling waters, white and strong
Bridge of living love

Life, free of regrets
Is as the dove on the winds
Grace of God’s true love

Ancient residents
Encroaching in homes and lives
Cockroaches or men

Anger burns, fear chills
Gentle patience heals in love
Live the quiet way

The unending Light of Creation
Is the power of infinite Love
Flowing freely through all the Universe
That is the Mind and Blood of God
Touched by the holy fire
The contrite of heart begin the journey ...

Allow me to love you
More and more each day
Let’s chip away the walls
That kept our hearts at bay
Allow me to touch your heart
Intimate, real, and true ...

From the joy you bring
I am strengthened and softened
You are my great love

A seed is planted
Life begins for a tall tree
Fed by sun and time

Walking together
Through dim days and bright
Mixing and melding
In divinity’s light
Alive and awake
Choose to find hope ...

Warmed by your warm heart
Moved to the depth of my core
In God’s loving care

With renewed aplomb
And heightened suffering
Lessons of one
Arrive always in thirds
Trials of the dark chasms
Held in place by the strings ...

mostly sunny
partly cloudy
mostly chilly
warmth expected
mostly calm
partly harsh ...

Aligned in deep gratitude
With the Creator of all
As wills, human and divine, merge
Blessings flow freely
Whether unseen or seen
Unacknowledged or acknowledged ...

lips, warm and moist
part, just a bit, as my lips approach
gazing into your deep depth
in the bluest of your blue eyes
in the depth of your dark soul
in the fire of your blazing passion ...

woman of God, touch my soul
child of God, make me whole
let me play the droplet's role
on your tongue
savor me
as i savor you ...

intimacy growing
as two lives grow together
hearts joining
in oneness with God's will
great love fulfilled
destiny’s dawning grace ...
