Infinity’s Ride

From the deepest part of me
Song flows out to you
Love pervading each new day
In everything we do

Tears of hope and joy run free
Love’s most sacred stream
Let’s run and dance and skip and play
Riding the beauteous dream

You brighten each new thing I see
Colors, alive and bold
Walking along Divinity’s way
And watching this love unfold

Embracing the moments joyfully
Melding souls of one
Soaking up each sacred ray
Of today’s bright shining sun

Union of love and holy we
As Providence smiles with pride
Forever joined with you, I pray
With grace for Infinity’s ride

Making Love to You

Sweet juice of the orange
Warm upon my tongue
Rain-soaked to the bone
Lost in perfect love

Memories still flowing
Kissed by summer’s dew
Enmeshed in a moment
Forever lost in you

Planted in the ground
Nourished by your blood
The bulb finds its root
Waters’ pleasing flood

Returning to the moment
Surrender all to me
Making love is all there is
Sacred ecstasy

Prayer of Life’s Creation

God,

Be in me an intimate and binding…
Force for Love’s creation.
Flood me with the power…
That sustains, grows, was and is.

As the mighty oak stretches to the sky
Both in the bright of day
And in the darkness of night
I stretch to You

And as that tree
Is rooted in the firmament of ages
Let me be deeply rooted
In the richness of You

As the river connects
The streams that feed
To the multitude in the valley
Let the Water flow through me

All streams begin with You
All hearts cry out for You
You are the highest mountain
And the vastness of all the oceans

Use me, oh God
Plant me deep in the meadow
That overlooks the sea
Reaches toward the peaks

Let me be the tree
That breathes in the suffering
Of all that draw near
Breathes out the air that heals

I will reach for You
I will be rooted in You
I am filled in You
Given life by You

Reaching toward the Light
Rooted in the Earth
Living, breathing
Loving, being

Let it be, Dear God
Let it be.

And so it is,
Amen

Simplicity of a Song

The beauty of a rainbow
Majestic in its array of colors
Heals the rain-soaked sadness
Rays of hope born of the heart

Simplicity of a song
Flows from the desire to dance
Friend offers a hand
Even through the darkness

Bowing to the greatness
Of a God who covers all
He will always set straight
The path of a willing child

Trust in the sanctity
Of the blazing fire, divine
Purify me, make me whole
One, in the bright morning light

majestic beast

deep in the heat-soaked plain
under the stand of trees
he walks amongst his streak
gingerly glides through the blades

great power in his gaze
all stop before his majestic presence
in the distance a bird cries out
he pauses for but an instant

continues his mighty tour
the young warriers stand tall
dare not allow apprehension’s draw
as the commander finds the prey

the feast is beginning
as the day draws to a close
in the distance a bird cries out
as the tiger devours the catch
