I Want You to Know

I want you to know…

You have stolen my heart
I melt in your presence
I am enlivened in your smile
You move my soul to sing

I want you to know…

You are my constant moment
You are the beating heart of time
I am both lost and found in your mystery
You are Time’s striving beat

I want you to know…

My mind dances in great delight
In the presence of your image
Your beauty floods my soul
With feelings of needing desire

I want you to know…

Life finds its way
On the pathways of our love
With you in my life
I have need of nothing else

I want you to know…

My love for you is grand
My love for you is pure elegance
This gift of our great and true love
Is straight from the Hand of Providence

I want you to know…

I am nourished in your great kindness
Bliss is home in our dwelling place
Our love is forever and forever real
I am grateful for your gentle hand

The Three Voices

Chaotic dreams of the psychotic darkness
spill into this bright and beautiful new day.
“Why are there so many conflicting thoughts
and desires? Why can’t I make them go away?”

“Peace is in the eternal Mind of God.” I hear
myself with such wisdom and conviction. Yet
another voice, clear and present, also beckons
me thus “I need to be heard. I need to be
loved. I need to be filled. I need to understand.”
These needs, these requests, these demands,
seemingly reasonable and innocent, are the
reason for my lapses of peace.

“Show me the light of true wisdom, Father.”
I hear, unsure, which of the two voices
this time is speaking. Perhaps, on the other
thought, it is another voice. Three voices,
three conflicting sets of wants and needs.
The child needs; the Self knows; the
negotiator tries to make sense of it all.

“The negotiator has the final say. The
negotiator is the home of free will. Choose
well and with much care. Hear the others,
yes, and then, choose well and with
much care.”

Sparks

Tasting the sweetest nectar
Wild beast set free in me
Your beauty overwhelms my soul
Your fragrance fills me with great need

To take you to great heights
I awaken the magic within
Greedily feasting on you with haste
My need to join with you increases

Boldly taking what you offer
Asking you to offer even more
Rhythmic dance continuing endlessly
As we feed our needs with more lust

Time slows as we approach the source
Your essence glowing divinely as I approach
Closing the distance between us
The flames of passion refueled by our love

Desperately wanting your wanting to explode
Exploring new heights of ecstatic bliss
Riding the colors of infinity
Endlessly bonding in the fires of life

A scream escapes our coupling
Unclear whether me or you
Gulping in fire and breath and flame
Melting into our deepest core

Blackness surrounds, wild heat melts us
We are lost in the timeless gap of love
Only the ecstatic perfection remains
Where love transcends all passions

Returning to the presence of mind and body
Remembering the need to breathe and feel
I gently touch your glowing face
Sparks of joy left in our holy wake

Blink of an Eye

The blink of her right eye
Convinced me of her words
I said I’d follow her anywhere
And I did

Into the dark closet
The sun no longer shone
The foul odors nagging
Coming from places unknown

Remembering the sunlight
As he pushed me on the swing
Warm rays, warmer love
And the songs I heard him sing

Wondering yet again
Why would she torment me so?
These question that gnaw at my mind
Why doesn’t daddy seem to know?

Deeper into the darkness
Only place left to hide
Colors around the next bend
Where evils no longer reside

I think I hear her coming
I need to hurry away
Lost in darker caverns
Refuse to longer stay

Haunted by the blink of an eye
Prisoner to the oldest shame
Welcome to the depths of hell
She’s calling again my name

A Prayer of Healing

Cleansed in great power
Healed in Your touch
Be here this hour
Bless us with much

We fall on our knees
Overwhelmed in Your grace
Cured of disease
In the glory of Your face

Each night and day
Made new in creation
Together we pray
Won’t hide our elation

We rejoice in the gifts
You fulfill all our needs
In the power that lifts
Love never recedes

Perfection in Your touch
Promised by Your Word
You give us so much
All we spoke, You have heard

In this moment now
We send You this prayer
Don’t need to know how
In an instant, repaired

We ask in a thought
Fall on our knees
You give what is sought
Heal our disease
