i knew not that i was missing a thing
until i looked into your open eyes, your bright soul
and i saw the perfection of us

overwhelmed in the great joy
tears flow as the river
leading to your love

my wonderment grows
in each moment with you
as we are growing, reaching for sky, clouds
as we are growing together into one soul

i forget to breathe
in my nervous and grand awe
as my disbelief falters
and our love shines anew

i knew not that i was missing one single thing
until your eyes shined on my spirit
and amazement dawned
in pure and true love
