Forgotten Starbirth

A stark glance at starbirth
The haunting now replaced
In explosions of her music
Through the once forgotten place

The vivid red velvet
Of a redawning star
Once a time to remember
Forgotten still thus far

Born into wealth
Colliding within
Awakened refrains
Asleep in the din

Beginnings of nothing
New strawberry haze
Lost in her revolt
And lost in heaven’s gaze

Winsome Sliver

Occasionally
A phrase holds on
It rises and rides through the seasons
Filed away, it fills, instills, chills, simmers

Echoes of a slight suggestion
Build in the background of a quiet mind
Until the chaos writhes
And breaks through the winsome din

It was but one simple phrase
Several years left behind
A lone sliver of paper
The words still on my mind

Humanity’s Creation

Travails fuel the fire
Passions cool the soul
Sensations fill the moment
Humanity’s flowing role

To live in the puzzles of time
Pieces scattered on a hardwood floor
Existing in pains and wonder
Searching for the stained-glass door

Images flow from agreements
Thoughts from agreements made one
Society’s actualized truths
Humanity won’t be undone

The comfort of newfallen snow
The chilling white sleepers within
Calmed in the colors of silence
Escaping humanity’s din

The ease of inventing existence
Humanity’s thoughts fuel the ire
Destroying the void of the heavens
Through joys, panes, tomorrows, and fire

Collectively walking the walk
From darkness to darkness fulfilled
The snowy white drifts of this life
Humanity’s walk toward the nil

Falling Memories

Memories fallen
From the void where they lived
Colors of starshine
The great wide dark sieve

Ideas from the vortex
Rock me to sleep
With nary a twinkling
With nary a peep

Moments forgotten
Before they were lived
From long lost survivors
Of the great wide dark sieve

As sleep overtakes me
I’m lost in the deep
Forgotten dark memories
Take time to repeat

Memories fallen
The void closing in
Finding the solace
Escaping the din

Spectrums of Hope

A past of insecurities, fear, begrudgements
Seems to him so far away
As he looks at the hues of the sunrise
Apprised of a happier place

The time for joy arising
As he finds the deep smile within
Amazed at the quiet repercussions
Flowing from yesterday’s din

A past that’s filled with sorrows
A future that’s starting right now
Amazed at the flowing new wonders
A sky of great miracles endowed

The glory of spectrums of hope
In the moments the sun hides beneath
A landscape that’s darkening before him
A sunrise his heart now bequeaths
