kneeling before you

a touch of soft skin
your lips meeting mine
closing your eyes
look, see the sign

releasing the magic
crossing the line
surrendering all
come, let me dine

sparks of white light
exploding, divine
dance of two souls
mystics entwine

kneeling before you
expose now your shrine
most sacred demands
oh lover, be mine

A Crossing of Paths

Searched from the lowest valley
to the peak most high
Looked under every stone
and behind even the tallest wall

Finally
gave up the search

Before the next moon
there you were
in wonderful glory
in miraculous beauty
in amazing love
in perfect loveliness

God’s greatest gift
stood in front of me
and said “hello”
and I looked askance
and I risked a smile
and I chose to hope
and I found belief
that He had destined
our crossing of paths

Over a year later
my love for you grows ever stronger
I revere you
I adore you
I surrender to the love we share
I thank God
that you are mine
and I too
am yours

Threshold Crossed

Holy beat moves the blood
Merged, we are, as sacred one
Damming thoughts hold the flood
Released in time, let it run

Combining lights, beautiful hue
Clashing feelings, me and you
Sacred us, rejoining new
Ancient beat, heard by few

Bodies touch; feel the heat
Hearts’ beat now in a moment lost
Minds are one in choice to meet
Spirits’ flight, threshold crossed

Rambling Crossroads

Words lose their depth
In the cold dark night
Wandering aimlessly
Lost in hearts’ light

Dreamt of a scorpion
Biting my toes
Where this is going
Future only knows

Rambling onward
Searching for the way
Lost for a moment
Disheartened dismay

Stop for a time
Find the place of clear
Care and understanding
Allow what’s held dear

Find the foundation
Hold to the love
Always delivered
On the wings of a dove

Peace is forever
Meeting in time
Look to the truth
Maternal Divine

Awakened

Darkest surrenders to unknown realms
Barking young fox moves in for a look
Terror reborn from the oldest of days
Dream of forever killed with a wink

Boiling cauldron of hot summer flesh
Crossroads of old, rising sun to the left
Spin around thrice toward the new beams
Wake for a moment to see the new fright

Launching the bright falling star from the sky
Ancient lost thoughts, new days blooming green
Lost in a moment, found in God’s thought
Lives of enlightened, awakened from sleep
