Woman

She moves as the wind
Chilling me to the bone
As she touches my mind
Flows through my flesh

She is the summation
And the intersection
Of all that is divinely
And gloriously, woman

With a glance, I am shaken
With a touch, surely taken
To the center of her heart
To the warmth of her soul

She moves as the wind
And, I, as the tree, dance
In the beauteous mystery
That, in her, is woman

Final Death

Wind through the trees’ great boughs
Chill the serpent to the center of his being
As he awaits the arrival of his new prey
Unsuspecting and circling above

Evening sun is setting quickly
Darkness of the heart settles on the scene
Illusions shattered as the colors fade from view
Hope dies in the final moments of forever

And in the end
Peace finds it’s home
In the utter silence
Of the final death…

Off-centered

Out of the darkest thought
Comes the roaming snarl
As the blackest panther’s eyes
Look on

Observer and observed
Mirror the hidden heart
Falling into the deepest depths
Of the abyss

Exhaustion sets in
And the final teardrop falls
As the heart’s waning song
Finds an end

As the last straw is added
Three angels happen by
Leading the lost soul
To comfort

Life rolls on in perfection
Always finding solace
In the equilibrium
Of peaceful rest

Do You Remember?

Do you remember how I felt?
The feel of my lips on yours?
Passionate fire ignited by the dance
Bodies moving as one

Do you remember the taste?
Liquid, warm and divine?
Oozing from the place
The center of desire

Do you remember the look?
In my eyes locked in yours?
As we found that place together
Lovers’ secret depths

Do you remember the sensation?
Emanating from our bodies, spent?
Resting in the bliss
Of the dance of new love

Do you remember?

Choose to Trust….

I believe in the power of the human heart.

That heart, that feels pain when we are hurt, sorrow when we see loss, anxiety in the presence of fear, is the center of compassion.

Compassion, it seems to me, is the entrance to the divine. When I love you, without condition, I love Creation, Divinity, God… and self. The heart that cries is the heart willing to feel. The heart willing to feel is able to connect… to spirit, to others, to love… And love is all there really is.

But I see no real love unless I am willing to open my heart to you… unless I am willing to share your fear…. unless I am willing to smash the walls I have built… unless I choose to trust….
