Enter Love’s palace
Sing a loud praise
Join with our Savior
Walk in His ways
From the first conversations
Strong winds blew my soul
Soothing this tired desert
Your kindness made me whole
Passionately surrendered
Through a waterfall of tears
You’re the one I so long prayed for
Days and months and years
Met you in my dreamless nights
Watched you from Creation’s view
Coming together, connecting, one
Beautiful union, precious and new
Distance made the days seem long
Storms and sorrows and fears to lose
Leaving burdens in the Cradle of Hope
In passion and peace, emotions confuse
But time and distance made us strong
Weathering winds and rains and fog
Learning the lessons while holding hands
Touch the turtle and smile at the frog
Seeking God in each new day
Sought His will, together we prayed
We lived in Light, in Gratitude’s way
Careful not to stay dismayed
Give and take, through push and pull
Chose to live and enjoy and laugh

Living life each day with you
In days of rain, bright sun, or shady
Growing stronger as two and one
Learning to love my Lavender Lady
Forever, holy Creator of all, we sing in praise to you
Though pain and sadness shade the path, your mercy still is true
To you we pray in secret; to you, surrender all
God of wonders, still and present, standing always tall
Take the heavy burdens, Lord; tear down the final wall
Give us eyes to see your face, grace to hear your call
Forever, holy Father of lost, we offer all we are
Though old fears speak to darkened hearts, your voice is clear and new
Surrender to God’s holy will
Partake in the feast of Life
Accepting ancient discoveries
Release the burden of strife
The Word lives on forever
In the heart of the penitent one
Nourished in the Body and Blood
Of the Father’s most perfect Son
Take your place at the heavenly table
Eat the Bread that forever sustains
Filled in the Living Water
Drenched in God’s sacred Rains
When my heart weeps, I call out your name. When the child within me is terrified, I pray. When the darkness takes over the day, I seek your face. When I must share my gifts, and lose my life, I gladly do it. For my life is not mine Father God, I give it again to you. When I want to scream about the unfairness of my life, this I give to you, too. I ask you to take my fear, to bolster my faith. I know that only love exists, and love is divine, and love is you. But, it hurts. And I remind myself. I chose to accept these burdens. I renew that choice. Thy will be done. Take my life. Give me the pain of others. I accept it with a trusting and willing heart. I love you, God. I do.
