This Morning

I woke this morning
And felt a gentle breeze
I woke this morning
And heard a bird’s song

You woke this morning
I breathed you a breeze
You woke this morning
I sang a gentle song

I woke this morning
Heard your unspeakable name
I woke this morning
And would never be the same

You woke this morning
I smiled as I called your name
You woke this morning
We will never be the same

I woke this morning
And felt a gentle breeze
I woke this morning
And felt the Spirit’s pull

You woke this morning, child
And caused me to smile in delight
You woke this new morning
What a glorious and wondrous sight

Sipping from the Stream of Life

Giggling through the day
Sipping from the stream of life
Skipping and dancing and dreaming
With my lovely and beautiful wife

Wonderful fresh and bright feeling
From my thoughts to the soles of my feet
Feeling the rhythm of the rising song
Living in the sacred sweet beat

Soft breeze arrives from the east
Bold happiness rides in from the west
Love also from the north and the south
Manifesting only the best

The glory of the universe sparkles
With the finest new treasures from the heart
Of a God of great wonder and majesty
May His peace, love and joy never part

An Act of Kindness

An act of gentle kindness
Touches a warrior’s core
Soothing spring rains
Covering, drenching, pure

Melting the strong walls
That kept him always secure
Piercing with life’s loveliness
Tapping on a heart’s door

Seeking the greater gifts
Always desiring more
Yet, ever frequent wonders
Are small, subtle and demure

Drifting in the gentle way
Current, strong and sure
Soaking in the beauty
Find your breeze and soar

An act of gentle kindness
From a deepening store
Reflected in the eyes
Love’s ever present cure

Take a Breath

Take a breath
Feel my words
Taste the breeze
Let life flow

Love is all around you
Invite it to invade your soul
Surrender to its majesty
Allow it to make you whole

Another breath
Taste these words
Sacred colors
Assume your role

Love is my great gift
It heals, creates and grows
Surrender to love’s grandeur
Be the one that knows

With each breath
Plant love deep
Be the seed
Each day sow

Love’s Present Breeze

Sun shines bright this new morn,
Illuminating the small creatures’ awakening.
Winter’s time of sleep will soon cease;
Spring touches the trees’ buds,
Invites the songbirds’ return.

Breezes, small and subtle, move us,
As we bow before the ebbs of seasons’ tides.
There is a peace unimaginable;
It rides the Light that touches all observers,
As we walk the beautiful path of life before us.

Yesterday’s chilling winds of change,
Tested our resolve and faith in today’s fate.
Today we journey again joined as one.

The Universe’s gifts arrayed before us in splendor,
We raise our eyes to the sun,
Dance in the warming spring breeze;
We are here and now in peaceful joy,
Rejoicing in the great Love that is our birthright.
