Sacred Kiss

Expanding resplendent bliss
In the moments before we wake
Awaiting the perfect kiss
With eyes, agree to partake

Heightened sensations we share
As feelings grow and expand
Seeing the hues in the air
Joining two souls in one Hand

Breezes where breezes can’t be
Feelings their wings flutter by
Seeing what Love’s eyes can see
Too immersed in a kiss to know why

And ten years later we know
What we knew from that very kiss
The angels are present and true
Where love is both sacred and new

A Moment’s Divinity

Where the night meets tomorrow
A new day sprouts with promise
Dawn of the rising fresh mind
Arriving new season showing its hand

Yesterday’s miserable fear and loss
Suffering memories of imperfection
Vanish as the dark of the ending night
Gives way to the beauty of the light

Colors, alive in the visible air
Intersecting realms, newly aware
Breathe in the majestic, if you dare
Risk a moment’s divinity there

Serenity’s Dawn

Serenity’s beautiful dawn
Fills the air with love
Angels in the ripples
Flowing in joy from above

Ecstatic glory finds a home
In the thoughts of a perfect pair
Bursting from two hearts
Flooding the excited air

Alive in the perfect moment
Longing for more each day
Night brings new refreshment
Great dance of life to stay

hearts’ reunion

from the window of my heart
my mind cries out to you
remembering joy, bliss, peace
and longing for moments more

your lines are in my thoughts
sweet caress again haunts me
wanting another healing touch
living for the hope of a kiss

the first instants when we met
forever etched in my soul’s mind
colors sprang to new heights
in the presence of our love

tears stream from open eyes
in the certainty of your return
remembering, gazing out the window
in front of which you once stood

only your fair and soft hand
fits so perfectly in mine
as my kind and gentle heart
waits patiently for yours

Love’s Burgeoning Essence

Wonderment of fragrant delight,
Blooming in the morning dew,
Indeed a dim prelude,
To a hint of beauty most true.

Waiting with effort in the garden,
Confidently smiling, I sip my tea.
Feigning calm and peace,
I wait anxiously for thee.

I stand as love approaches;
Pray for a smidgen of resolve;
Overwhelming art thine beauty;
This time, I dare not dissolve.

Accepting your hand, pale and fair,
Gently raise it to a waiting smile,
With boldness, brave a wish,
Ne’er return to solitude erstwhile.

Love’s essence burgeoning,
Touching two lives this day,
Leaving for just an instant,
I raise mine eyes and pray.
